Who we're hiring
As development progresses and funding closes, we're bringing on the following roles, primarily as contractors first:
Senior Unreal / C++ Engineer
Help build core systems — flight physics, world map streaming, replication, encounter sessions. Strong UE5 C++ background, Lyra patterns familiarity, comfort with networking and low-level optimization. Apply →
Environment Artist
Build cinematic outdoor scenes for the alien sky-ocean, trade outposts, deeps. Strong Unreal Engine 5 / Nanite / Lumen experience. Portfolio with PvPvE / sandbox / sci-fi work preferred. Apply →
Character Animator
Movement, combat, ship boarding, parkour interactions. Motion-matching pipelines (GASP) experience strongly preferred. Apply →

Application Permissions Required
Our integration with Epic Online Services (EOS) requires the following scopes / permissions for the player authentication and social experience:
- basic_profile — player display name and avatar for in-game identity
- friends_list — for the in-game friends panel and crew invites
- presence — to show whether friends are online and what they're doing in-game
- account_id — persistent unique identifier for cross-session player progress
We do not request any payment, identity-document, or other sensitive scopes through the EOS authentication flow. Payments are handled separately by certified payment processors.
Data handling
Player data is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We use industry-standard encryption in transit, do not sell personal information, and provide players with rights to access, correct, and delete their data.
