About Dunetech
Who we are
Dunetech Studios is the brand under which Dunetech Trading Design and Software develops video games. Founded in 2022 and operating as an independent studio, we build long-horizon multiplayer experiences with a single creative vision — powered by Unreal Engine 5 from day one.
What we believe
The best games are worlds, not titles. They have geography, identity, cycles, and consequence. They reward patience. They respect time. They don't manipulate — they invite.
Modern engines and online services have collapsed the gap between solo and team development. A small studio with conviction can ship something a 200-person team would compromise. That's our wager.
What we're building
Three games are currently in development under the Dunetech roof. War of Islands is our flagship title — a sky-pirate civilization-builder where each player permanently inhabits a unique coordinate in a shared sky-ocean. Combat is geographic. Map is fog-of-war. Time is a mechanic. Not battle royale, not extraction, not MMO. Something new.
All three projects are built on Unreal Engine 5 with EOS and PlayFab. War of Islands targets closed alpha late 2026, public launch on Steam and PlayStation 5 in Q4 2026. The other two titles are announced after WoI ships.
Nader
Full-stack game developer working across gameplay programming, system design, art direction, and business strategy. Self-taught, fast learner, maker. Operates Dunetech on AAA-grade architecture from day one — Lyra UI patterns, custom C++ subsystems, professional online-services integration (EOS, PlayFab, Anti-Cheat).
The conviction that drove Dunetech: the best games come from one creative voice, executed without compromise — and modern tooling has made that possible at indie scale.
Hiring
We're growing carefully. As funding closes, we'll bring on contractors in:
